Churches do a better job at early education than do governments
The County of Travis (Austin Texas metro) is suggesting they should increase taxes so they can start daycares. This is a bad idea. https://www.austinmonitor.com/stories/2024/08/county-commissioners-approve-tax-rate-election-to-raise-75m-for-child-care/
What have they done well so far? When has government early childhood done up to standard? By contrast, robust, replicated research shows that church and synagogue affiliated schools outperform.
If you are a church or participate in one, perhaps you would like to consider whether or not you might be able to host one. For that, see: www.teachachildchangeanation.org.
