Here is a great introduction to a disorder that seems to be new. What is going on when a child is acting… unsual … consistently. Do you have a child who just freaks out over the loud fire alarm? A child for whom certain normal touch sensations just won’t work — like it is too hard to wear socks? Or who just can’t do normal things even though they seem to want to?
